River & Wild Co.’s mission is to deepen our community’s connection with nature by honoring the quiet, often unnoticed beauty of local wildlife, landscapes, and waterways. Through images, guided experiences, and thoughtful reflection, we aim to spark curiosity, inspire mindfulness, and encourage others to explore the wild spaces just beyond their doorstep.
Our Cause
With every copy of There’s This River sold online, 10% supports Cranford Family Care—helping feed families right here in our community. We believe art should give back to the place that inspires it.
About the Photographer & Author
For Christine Dyer, the Rahway River became more than a place—it became a sanctuary, a source of inspiration, and the heart of her creative journey. With her camera in hand, she began documenting the wildlife, light, and shifting seasons that brought her a sense of peace and connection.
Over time, these quiet encounters evolved into a body of work that celebrates the hidden beauty of New Jersey’s natural landscapes. Christine’s photographs honor the small wonders that surround us: the shimmering ripple of the river, the sudden flash of a warbler’s wing, the stillness of a heron in the snow. Her art invites viewers to pause, breathe, and experience nature with a renewed sense of wonder.
